Be sure to turn the tone all the way down!!I have been trying to get this sound for a long time and this is the closest I have gotten, it really sounds like Kirk.Also use these amp settings: Low=10 Mid=2.5 High=10 Master=1.5 This is for a crappy Peavy Rage amp.

This is great for Skynyrd and Nugent tunes and other sorts of swanky, dirty R&R riffs. Big, fat, and swaggering. A Strat through a Princeton 112 is my setup, you might want more level if you have humbuckers.
